| i havent been lazy lately.. just nothing really "new and noteworthy" here with the site. hence no real updates. i've been counting away til the end of school, now. only 56 more full days .. may 30 is the beginning of finals [also my 18th birthday], and after those four days, two days of graduation practice before graduation commences. working hard on my research paper stuff. finished clockwork orange. great book, most excellent book i have ever read, i believe. yes, even better than high fidelity. the movie was a bit strange. watched it last night wtih tom and jess, who i am now deeming "the sucky suck face twins". **define yourself rusty! [ok!!!] -- it seemed that when watching clockwork orange last night, at times, i would lose my concentration because my concentraion was interrupted by the slurping, sucking noises of tom and jess all cuddled up in the lounge chair. thank god for that white post blocking the view. so, instead, your humble website owner balled up on the couch, half covered up and just dreamed of when i might just be a bit happier. i really should start charging admission to my basement. 'studio rusty' was always the joke name for the place. i mean seriously, everytime we have a big group function, it always seems to be a race to see which couple can get in to my bed, and i'm never involved in it [well, it's not a race -- more like each time we're all over there, a different couple ends up making out in my waterbed. ***sigh***]. local h - here comes the zoo. finest record of the hour. real good, damn good rock and roll. the best stuff i've heard in a good while. a sign that my favorite bands that are intending to release new albums this year will rule and prevail. that list might u ask ... ok: albums that rusty is really looking forward to this 2002: nada surf - finally, after listening to the proximity effect over and over since 1998, i finally get a new batch of songs. superdrag - last call for vitirol .. due in may. like one of their new songs say: "oooh! no! i can't wait!" weezer - maladroit .. due 4/30 i guess, even though in heat with the label, and they just started work on album #5 this week .. crazy kids. the dandy warhols - supposedly titled i am all freaks and due in april/may [though i doubt it for that band never released an album on time] .. that'll be nice. the breeders - title tk .. love last splash, one of the bestest and coolest records of the 1990's. wonder if that will be the nirvana of the 00 decade ... oh well .. life goes on for your great friend, o my brothers. yes it does. i will prevail, i will get by, i will survive, i will be happy when the right time has arrived. to whomever hits #1000 [though g swears it will be him] congrats to you .. you might just that last one. |
