let's cause a comotion

at one point in life, i never thought work would bring out what i thought it would. me and a girl named natalie wherley.

now believe it or not, i recognized her at first .. did she graduate from l-town years prior to now? was she a former employee of the wall? no, it was wal*mart .. and a sister.

now see, it was a month or so back that joelle at work said that a girl from hanover, her friend lindsay wherley, remember yours truly from our days at clearview elementary, grades K-3 before my drastic move to l-town. she said i had a crush on her, thought she was cute .. lindsay who? didn't know her. and when i saw her again, i still didn't know who she was, but found her cute.

now about a year ago is where natalie would come in to play .. she remembers these moments, i do somewhat. it would be back in electronics, the weekend prior to thanksgiving, that natalie wherley comes in to my life. she drops a 3 doors down cd, and i pick it up for her before she can. she's looking at the everclear cd for her friend, not know that their new album was coming out that tuesday. they were her favorite band, i loved em too. she was so stoked that the cd was coming out tuesday ... and i found her cute, and knew that i'd never see her again.

but she says i did, she came through my line while home from school (she's a drop out from west chester, somewhere i planned on a lookin.) said she was having probs etc, i'd learn the rest tonight.

i get to work at 4, noticing her at the register in front of me ("yes!" he thinks to himself, the hot girl .. hot girl he knows isn't interested, wouldn't get outside a building with). i come in and she shoots me the greatest smile i've seen in the longest time .. we talk when we can, i help her out (she hasn't even been a wal*mart assosciate for a week yet). then comes points of interest. she notes her working til 11, after i acknowledge my workings til 10. but is happy that she has plans after work .. plans with one stockman, though she wasn't really up for it and invites me along. i tell her i plan on retiring at el casa de rusty, taking in a film. she says to come watch a movie at her place, she can drive after hours, natalie's coming to see blow at my place.

she arrives at 1120, i pop popcorn we talk, flirt with one another some more before we head to the basement ..

you know what happens .. we blow the movie off. after footsies, and discussing our meeting almost a year ago, we shared a kiss. goodbye single life, so long loneliness and emptiness .. hello love life:)

anyway, our first official date will commence tenatively monday evening. after dining back here as a meet and greet with mom and russell, we will be seeing serendipity with john cusack. i wanted to see it, as did she, we shook on it.
