I've Only Been Sleeping

As of late, everyone had thought that I had died and/or gone away .. but really I haven't.

Yes, the site has gone through few changes; I've added the Weezer MP3 List for those completists who continue to hunt me down for that original version of "Hash Pipe" from last summer which discussed the bears and the "F"-word ... and the Music page has come down because  for lack of a better word, Angelfire is being an ass to me. So until I get that figured out, all the Weezer fans in the world IM me  for them ...

So what have I been doing ... when I last left you all roughly two weeks ago, I had just visited Faith.  We're as happy as can be and still are.  I have been really happy with her, though we were having a hard time planning the next day we'd see one another .. it's kinda soon .. tomorrow soon enough? That's right, I'm heading up at 8am tomorrow to see my babe. A day of goofiness with a home made slip and slide, and some swimming, as long as the temperature doesn't continue with that Heat Index of 110 degrees ... or we'll be stuck inside with the central air.

I've been writing alot actually .. not as much lyrics and music but I'm working on a story believe it or not. This will be my first venture into me writing a story since that 32 page one handed in to Ms. Wineka in 8th Grade .. tenatively I'm calling it
7 Girls, or 7 Things ... it's quasi-autobiogrpahical .. I got the idea from sitting with a bunch of friends one night in the break room during work. Those people are in it, under different names, except one will actually carry their nickname I have given them.. I'm setting it in a High Fidelity fashion in where the first person dialogue is inter-wrapped around everything else. All of us work at a place in Oregon called The Shop, it's a coffee shop actually .. I'll be posting it on here piece by piece so keep watching. I should get the first part of it up here within the week ...

I've been listening to The Catherine Wheel .. I have all their CD's here courtesy of my Cousin Ryan, and they're lovely. I'm listening to their first album
Ferment right now ... it's good actually, though Ryan said it isn't the best, but has the fan fave "Black Metallic" which I love .. but I think "Flower To Hide" and "Indigo Is Blue" are beautiful. Very early 1980's REM vibe to the record. But Adam & Eve is their all time greatest record I must say ...  the audio companion to High Fidelity as they even thank author Nick Hornby in the liner notes, and the final closing track that's hidden .. is the last paragraph in the one chapter .. page 158. That has got to be one of the best records ever I must say.

But for now .. that's all I have to put in here.
Peace out Brother .. 9:39pm.
