| 06/07/01. 22:53pm. Work Isn't As Easy As Is Meeting People What a day what a day. Ran around up to dad's, tried scanning pictures at my uncle's, had some pc problems, which puts a delay on the new Gallery site I came up with. Got a haircut (nothing major yet, just a "clean up" job). Work was work. Wasn't too busy at first, they sent me back to toys for a whopping 30 minutes before I took my break. I then returned to the front for the rest of my evening.... Wal*Mart's ok, it's just the idea of me being there and not somewhere else. Next month will be one year since I started, scary huh? It seems like I'm starting to get sick at the site of the place; like one day I'm just gonna go nuts and pull out my till and throw all the money in there out for the people to have and leave. I get tired of having the customers who are picky on what's in which bag; the customers who have the tired children who throw a fit over something, who then in turn yell at them, which makes the situation worse. Screaming kids and screaming customers are just .. ugh. I almost wanna go work somewhere better; I worked at McDonald's last summer before going to Wally World, hated it there. Needing three showers a day to get the awful smell of grease off was enough to take it out of me. I want a different job, something cooler, something funner, like a clothing store, a record store (the dream place of employment), spencer's even. Speaking of Spencer's, went there before work today and bought my Weezer Tee I had wanted since seeing it on the site. It was way expensive at the site (a not so nice 22.50) but I got it there for $16. The blue one with the =W= rock music logo on the front, and the weezer font logo on the back with a number 22. Don't ask why 22 cause .. I don't know. Alyssa was working again, we had a nice converstaion on music, where we reside, where we wanna go to college. Like I, she too wishes to attended at NYU, and I found out my figures were wrong. She said the price is all dependant upon your major. For example, if you go for a Degree in Law, it's $1,000/pt. Her intended major of Computer Science is $11,000/yr. Maybe Journalism or Music Business we'll be nice and cheaper too. Alyssa, she's cool, I mean really. One of those girls you're attracted to not just by the looks, but by the personality and interests they carry. It's cool. Russ would say she fits under my normal category of .. different. I like different, hell I once was and I guess I still am the proclaimed self-righteous leader of the local Bohemian movement. Though then again we all are Bohemian in some weird way, we all find interests in certain areas different from the next, therefore making us that way. Top 5 Songs To Fit The Mood Of This Evening 1.
