I was born in Portsmouth, NH in 1973. I was adopted by Larry and Judy. My sisters Debbie (born 1974) and Jean (1976) are not adopted. We grew up in Northern Va. about 30 min. outside of D.C.
When I was 6 my dad Larry was killed in an accident. My mom married my dad Howard P. in 1980 and he adopted my sisters and I. So I have been adopted twice! :) HP had a son from a previous marriage, my brother, Troy, who is 5 yrs older than I am.
Now that I am almost 30, I know I have a pretty neat family.
I met Dru in 1994 and married him in 1998. We moved to NC and we love it here!

One of my favorite places on the web is the Lighthouse Depot. They have a loads of neat lighthouse stuff and info!

I recently read J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord fo the Rings series. I also had the opportunity to see the first movie, and I am looking forward to seeing the rest as they come out.
I also enjoy John Irving books. I have read the Harry Potter books and re-read them if I want to escape into a book but don't have a lot of time. (I probably shouldn't admit that on a web page, but oh well!)
When I turned 18 I decided I wanted to try to find my biological mother. With my mom's help I did and I found out from her that I had 2 half sisters. One is almost 3 years younger than me and one is almost 7 years younger.
