Texture Rubbings
Materials Needed: Computer paper, Large crayons, Kids!
Simply hand each child a sheet of paper and a peeled crayon. Take turns hiding eyes while each person lays the sheet over an object and rubs the crayon across it for texture. Limit the area for textures to the front or back yard. You'll be amazed at how difficult it can be to figure out where certain textures come from!
