Make a card for a child who is spending Christmas in the hospital (I'm sure there will be a few in practically every town- and the hospital would be happy to have someone be so thoughtful)

Make a list with your family of your favorite Christmas memories and talk about why they are your favorite.

(For a Saturday night) If you could have all the money you wanted, but you had to spend it all on gifts (without keeping anything for yourself), what things would you buy and to whom would you give them? Draw a picture of those things and bring to Sunday School tomorrow. That might be a good lead-in for the Christmas story, either from the point of view of Christ being the greatest gift to the world or when you tell about the wise men.

Go out of your way tomorrow to do something nice for a younger person (maybe another good Saturday night one, since the kids would all see each other for Sunday school/church and it might be easier for all kids to find a younger one.

Play a game together: There are oodles of Christmas games and trivia on the internet...you could adapt something you find to make a short game or quiz for one day, or print a coloring page or maze or something from one of the kid-oriented sites.

Make a personalized Christmas stocking you can use a brown grocery bag for a really cute stocking cut two pieces and punch holes around it and thread it with a favorite colored yarn. These can be painted, use glitter, Elmer�s glue instead of yarn, pictures from catalogues, or felt�etc�

Make a banner for your door or front window for instance each family member can write a greeting or draw a picture.

Give a kindness slip to each person. That is make an envelope for each person in the family and hand out slips of paper to each person to write something nice about each person in the family, little ones may need help.

Choose one item of your own (old clothing, toy, etc, which is still in useable condition) to donate this holiday season (church nurseries, Goodwill, Salvation Army, women's shelters, etc, often need just these kinds of items)-another option here might be bringing a canned good to church to donate to a food bank or shelter

Tell everyone in your family something you love about them

Make an extra effort to use your best manners

Find out how Christmastime is different now from when your mom/dad/grandparents/etc were kids and invent a short story/song/drawing about what it might be like to have Christmas "way back then"
