Dolly Want a Cracker originally started out as DancinStar's Dolls with a hometown.aol.com website. The first idea was drag and drop dolls I stole from multiple websites to put on my page (sorry to those sites I stole from...) Soon enough, the whole page was filled with drag and drops. I made a very ugly layout that was only one background color with buttons that were only the word, no buttons or anything.
I became introduced to handdrawns through Josie's Dolls and Xandorra's Place. I went through 3 layouts there using AOL's easy designer drag and drop program since I had no idea how to do HTML or even what it was. Then, Anaya asked if I wanted her to make me a layout using geocities. I wasn't sure I wanted to at first, but a few months later I accepted. She made a layout for me, and we put the site together.
Dancinstar.cjb.net was born! I had 2 layouts there and I decided I needed to change the name. Dancinstar was getting a little old to me. I wanted an original and fun name. TA DA DA! Dolly Want a Cracker was born. So, that's how my site was made!
