I stumbled upon Unitarian Universalism and that became my spiritual home. It was at a UU summer camp in 1993 that I met my wife and discovered Paganism. Paganism fulfilled my need to connect with nature and unlike Christianity didn't so much offer The Answer as offer a way to ask questions. It satisfied my need for meaningful ritual without sacrificing the logical part of my brain.

Since becoming involved in Paganism I have worked as a solitary, in partnership with my wife and with various groups. I co-founded of the Elder Grove back in Arkansas and currently am co-facilitator of Rhythm of Life Chalice Circle. I hold a Master of Education degree and currently lives in Houston, Texas with his wife Cindy, our basenji, Belle and our rabbit, Trickster.

With 15 years experience working with youth and 25 years of classroom teaching, I feel that I am uniquely qualified to write a book for the teenaged Pagan male. My book, The Horned God in Every Boy is different from other books in several respects. First, it deals with Paganism as a religion rather than a system of magick. Second, in it myth is celebrated through rituals with the purpose of producing change in the individual and in society at large. Third, although it contains material suitable for the beginner, it does not stop there. Finally, it is written from a male perspective for the male reader.
