Chapter 11

It was about 3pm when I arrived to the boutique. I came in and I asked in the reception for Piper. They let me in and they guide me to this room where Piper and Alex were trying on their dresses... I run and hugged them!! I missed them so much; I don’t think we ever were separated for much time. We cried of emotion… after a few minutes a lady came by and brought the dress I World wear for the wedding I had to try it on to fix some details.. I went to the dress room and I changed my clothes  and I tried on the dress that was designed for me…It was so its color was baby blue, Piper said she pick that color because it Would match with my eyes , Alex already had her dress on. In a second Piper came in the dress room and when she went out we all looked at her.

I: WOW!

Alex and me: Piper, you look stunning- ,,

 Her dress was like a princess one, it was so beautiful. The dresses were perfect for us, so we picked them and we took them home.

Alex drove her car; meanwhile we sat in the backseat with Piper.

But first we stopped by to leave Piper’s dress at her house and then we went to my place.

The girls were very thrilled to meet Drew. We were fans of “Charmed” so it was a very big thing for the girls. Chris was their fave character in the serie.

We arrived home and I went upstairs to look for Drew. I saw that he was napping so I didn’t bother him. I went downstairs and I told the girls that Drew was sleeping so we had some coffee and talk about many things in the living room.

I had to call my mom to tell her that I was back in Tulsa and I hung up. I went back with my friends..

They told me that they were having Pipers bachelorette’s party tomorrow night at Alex’s house. The guys would have their party the same night too.

Piper took out of her bag her agenda and showed me a paper with the schedule.

Schedule

Wednesday 9 pm : bachelorette party

Thursday 8  pm : rehearsal dinner (with families)

Friday 2 pm : ceremony rehearsal

         5 pm: spa

Saturday 3 pm : beauty saloon (hair)
       4:30 pm : manicure

              5 pm :makeup
               6 pm :arrival to the church and get dress

           7pm : ceremony

          8 pm : reception .

I:WOW!! I see you have everything done girls

They laughed, I felt a little bit depressed

I: I wish I was here to help you in

My eyes were full of tears
They game me a double hug

They told me that they thought about me in every decision they made and that they always thought about me. After all we talked everyday on the phone about the wedding. ..

That’s when someone interrupted us

Drew: Good afternoon ladies -..

Drew greeted the girls and gave a special hug to the bride to be. He sat with us in the living room and Chat with each other for a long time.

Drew was one of the most charming people I’ve ever met so he got along with the girls very well.

Then while we were drinking our coffee Alex’s phone rang...It was Ryan.
.After she hung up she told us what he said.

Alex: guys, Ryan called me and told me that it would be nice for everybody to go downtown and get some drinks… what do you think?

I: for me it’d be cool… what do you think Drew?

Drew: awesome idea, that way I could see Tulsa at night

Piper: It would be nice…so where do we meet?

Alex: At Lucas 

So we finished our coffees and we walked to Luca’s house.

We walked in and I browsed Zac with my eyes…. He wasn’t there

 

Piper: so where is everybody else?

Lucas :Ryan is coming with Zac and Kate…we need to wait for them

Deamn Kate is coming too…

Lucas looked at me

Lucas:are you Ok with Kate’s presence?

I nodded but I didn’t say a word. Everybody else in the room looked at me and it felt strange.  On the inside I was way too worried to see Zac again.

Drew talked to Lucas a lot… it seemed that they had some relatives in common or something like that that I didn’t get.

I looked through the window and I saw Kate, Ryan and Zac walking out of Kate’s car. I started shaking, it felt so nervous and my stomach was making me feel bad again… I took a deep breath hoping that the bad feeling would be gone. I didn’t want anyone else to notice me like that.
Suddenly the doorbell rang, I closed my eyes…someone opened the door and I heard them walking in… My knees were trembling; my heart pumped 100 times per second

I opened my eyes and I saw Kate standing in front of me, she was holding hands with Zac, my stomach ache to see that… I wanted to cry but I hold my tears, she let go Zac’s hand and begin to say hi to everyone. Zac followed her and did the same

 

Kate :Hi darling it’s been so long

She said fake

Kate:I heard that you finally got a job working in a movie… you worked as an extra right?

I:noo darling You are incorrect, as always. I got the MAIN character for your information; it seems that your source of information is not too trustful.

Her eyes got bigger, she was mad… I interrupted her. …

I:so are you still doing modeling in a mall?

Alex and Piper laughed at her… Kate’s angriness was so obvious. She walked away from me.

I laughed even more, that’s when Zac stood in front of me and tried to kiss my cheek but I moved my FACE. My heart broke when I saw his shinning eyes staring back at me

I gave him a dry look. It was better for me to be uncaring with him than show him that I was still in love with him.

I: Hello Zachary

It upset me so much to be like that with him. I still loved him with all my Heart and not being able to be with him made me the saddest girl in the World… I knew that Zac disgrace me and didn’t trust me.. It seems that he was still mad at me for something I didn’t do.

He didn’t say anything to me, just walk towards Kate and gave her a big kiss.

Everybody saw that he made that to irritate me.

I looked somewhere else to look for Drew; I didn’t want to see the stupid show that Zac was creating…

I: there you are, I’ve been looking for you everywhere...

Kate stopped kissing Zac and yelled when she saw Drew. She run towards him and gave im a hug.

Kate: oh Drew Fuller!! I’m one of your biggest fan please give me your autograph I love you so much!!!

And blab la bla….

It was so pitiful for Drew he had to stand Kate blabbing him that way. Zac was annoyed to see Drew there and of course to present the extreme show that Kate was doing in front of Drew. So he sat on a couch crossing his arms looking how Kate talked to Drew. She treated him like he was from another planet or something. Drew was just a typical guy.

Zac: it’s too late we better go Ok.

Kate: no way, I’m going with Drew, we have so many things to talk, right Drew?

Drew: uhm… right…

Zac: Kate let’s go to the car.

Kate: I’m going with Drew. End of discussion

Kate didn’t want to let go, Zac forced her to get in the car but she didn’t want to leave Drew.

So she walked with us to my car, Zac had no other choice but to get in the car with Drew and Me. Alex Piper Lucas and Ryan drove downtown in Luca’s car.

Zac sat behind my SEAT in my car. I could see him on the mirror. Next to me Drew sat and Kate was sitting behind him talking to him…poor Drew. She didn’t stop making him questions about how famous he was… I could see him get annoyed by her.

I turned up the radio because I didn’t want to hear her annoying voice again… I tune one of the best songs ever.. it was Every time, sing La Ley  from the soundtrack of the movie Crazy Beautiful .

"Every time is time to go in many ways every dream is like a long road with little time I will fly within your sky" …

I sung the full song, I knew perfectly that it was one of Zac’s fave songs.

While I was driving I saw on the mirrors reflect that Zac was staring at me, I avoided his look.

When we arrived downtown, we parked our cars. We started walking on the sidewalk… the night was so beautiful but a little cold. The stars above us were shinning bright.

Kate held Drew by his arm while we were walking… I could hear Zac’s steps following me. We were the only ones walking alone…

Suddenly Kate started screaming and jumping.. I thought she was crazy… She pointed a car and twisted around to Zac.

Kate:Zac.. Zac … a car like THAT one hit me… …

Zac:-are you sure???

Kate:yesss I’m sure, it was a white Mercedes Benz … I remember now!

She said excited

I heard that she told Drew that a couple of weeks ago she had an accident and bla bla bla

Of course Drew know about that story because I told him , he just listened suspiciously.

We kept walking to this place where we were going, we still got a few blocks left to walk.

On a corner I felt Zac’s hand holding my arm making me stop… I turned around and I saw Zac’s eyes with tears.

Zac: I… I…

I: get off me!

I gave him a angry look and he let me go .

Finally the truth was said, and he knew that I was not a Psycho or a petulant like he said I was.

I walked faster to reach Drew and Kate…

I: hey Kate… thanks!

Kate: thanks for what?

I :I just want to thank you ,that’s all

She didn’t say anything, just kept walking and talking to Drew .

A few minutes later we were walking in this restaurant/ karaoke club where they had the most delicious juices.
I ordered my raspberry drink and a tuna salad, I excuse myself and I went to the restroom … I felt so sad that I had to cry in silence..

Zac ate his own words, I’m not a liar, I’m not a psycho, I’m not what he says I am.

I dried my tears and I fixed my makeup… I looked good. I came back to the table.

This place had a Karaoke so I was in the mood for singing , I chose “one way or another” by Blondie and I sang. At the end everybody congratulate me for my presentation and the audience asked me for one more song. I agreed but this time Drew came on stage with me, we chose In the end by Linkin Park . The lyric was perfect..

Before I started singing I said in the mic:

I: this song is dedicated to all those jerk exs.

The audience laughed and I saw Zac crossing his arms. He was mad!

 So, me and Drew started singing…

The duet turned out fantastic, everybody applause us. We felt great… then another couple came on stage and we walked down. W e came back to the table and Zac was there looking down.

At least he knows the truth, I thought.

The night was great, I had such a great time but Zac was in a bad humor.

 
We came out of the restaurant and went for a walk. Zac tried to call for my attention several times but I didn’t fall.

I want to be near him but it hurt too much not having him so I tried to stay away from him. Probably I was the biggest Fool On earth for loving a guy that treated me like garbage.

I parked my car, I was too tired so I said a general goodbye and we walked to my house.

At home….

 Drew: wow… now I need to get a very looooong sleep

I :it’s been the longest day for me…

Drew:I don’t want to be mean but does Kate ever get tired of talking too much? How can you guys stand her?

I: we just don’t

Poor him… I just laughed and he did that too.  I went upstairs and I put my pijamas on… and Laid in bed… Suddenly a knock was on my door…it was Drew…

Drew: can I come in?

I: sure…

He sat next to me and we talked for a little while then we said goodnight and went to his room  to get some sleep.

Next morning I woke up late, about 1pm… I came down to look for some coffee and I was that Drew was making lunch.

 Drew:Good morning sleeping beauty! … awww what a lovely pijamas!

I smiled  ..

I: Do you need any help?

Drew: nope , not really everything is almost ready…

I went upstairs to take a quick shower, then I got dressed and I cleaned my room. I did laundry and I carried the clothes to the laundry room…
