A behind-the-scenes look at:
Dancing Despite The Silence
The Inspiration and Motivation
"Those who danced were thought to be quite insane
by those who could not hear the music." -- Angela Monet
These were the words, once so brilliantly quoted by Angela Monet, that sparked a sense of wonder inside of me. I thought to myself, "How simple and yet how profound all at the same time!" Of course, when someone gets a concept that is simple and profound you turn it into a book, or in my case, a web-site! The book is in the making and so are all the other Dancing Despite ideas I'm bubbling with.

The reason I've decided to make this concept a girl-only thing is because, being a female myself, I've felt and seen the pain that comes along with the Christian girl occupation. It's a worthy price to pay, yes, but that doesn't mean it's easy. While I'm sure the struggles boys go through are of the same pain-measurement, I believe we, as girls, have a different way of dealing with things. We're obviously different from boys. . . Emotionally, physically, and mentally we are set apart from them. So, I've decided to leave the struggles of the male species up to another male who can level with them better then I.

God has also given me a heart for young ladies. Like I said earlier, it's a hard job, being a girl. We all can admit that there have been times when we'd be content just sitting on the wall instead of dancing, but where's the fun in that? The purpose of this site is to equip you to keep "dancing" despite the fact that your not going always going to hear "music". Translation? We're here to help you persevere in God's kingdom even when times are rough and not a single string of happiness is in sight.

As Angela Monet put it, we may (more then likely will) be thought to be insane by onlookers, but we've got to do it anyway. Why? Because we're called by God to live our lives with purpose, vision and faith. So, at the risk of sounding cliche' here....
Would you like to dance? :)
