| I have tried to break down some simple little steos in Irish dance to make them easy for someone to learn....how did I do? Let Me know, k? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Over and Out's - Lift your right (or left) leg into the air so that it is (at least) at a 90 degree angle. - Place that foot down and with your other leg kick your butt, then bring that same leg out in frount of you so that it is at a 90 degree angle. - When you have that down, practice doing all of these movements while still atying in the air, such as Jean Butler is doing on your right. | Double Up's - Stand on one foot (up on your toe, make sure your knee is straight) and bend your other foot so your toe is almost touching the knee of the supporting leg - Jump into the air and hit your knee twice before you land. - Still not sure? Click here |

| Leg Up's -Stand on the ball of your left (or right) leg, (back knee must be straight) kick your leg as high into the air as you can, without moving your shoulders. - Can't do it without moving your shoulers? Can't kick it very high? Click here! |

| Toe Walks - In your hard shoes bend over the tip of your toe so that you are standing on the over part of your toe, and do the same with the other foot - It is a good idea to hold onto a barre while first doing this exercise. - Move your feet quickly across the floor, while still keeping them crossed.
