I find myself wondering what everyone is thinking I should put here,.. and I find myself at a fork in the road.. It is hard to put all my knowledge of herbs, magic, and other views into words, so.. I will will make this place a 'rant corner' which I do, when I'm ticked off about something or another..
First off, I am not Wiccan, nor do I call myself a witch, I walk my own path in the light of the ALL & find myself defending many of the new walkers of pagan paths.
I have noticed however, that some of the elder wiccans have been seemingly picking on the younger generation, the 'new' wiccans/witches. And it just gets me going on how rude and insenitive they are.
Some newcomers have been calling themselves 'wiccan', but their paths are somewhat different, from what the elders call 'wicca'. They have outwardly made their point on how they feel about this 'new age of wicca' and it's not very nice.[I might add.] Calling them silly names and trying to embarass them, public ridicule never solved anything!
WELL.. my point of view might be a tad different, BUT! Who are they to talk this way to the newcomers, they're green, they're new to all this excitement, & are becoming aware of their own feelings, & I APPLAUD them on finding out that they are different, unique, and outstanding individuals.
Altho, I do know that most of the newcomers are just looking around, trying to see what there is out there in this world. They may not be 'true' wiccan's but, you know, atleast they're opening their eyes to the world and not following everyone else.
Now, if any of the elders of the Wiccan community has a problem with this comment, you know how to find me' & I hope YOU DO!
