Stuffed Bell Peppers

 

Ingredients

 

1 lb. ground chuck 1/2  lb. low fat smoked sausage

1 onion, finely chopped 2 cups minute rice, cooked

6 bell peppers 1 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. black pepper 8 oz. tomato sauce

1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. canola oil

 

Preparation

 

Cook minute rice. Sauté ground chuck, sausage, & onion in 1 tsp. canola oil. 

Add black pepper, garlic powder, & salt. 

Combine meat mixture, rice, & tomato sauce. 

Scald bell peppers for about 8 minutes. 

Stuff peppers with meat mixture.

Put a small amount of water in bottom of a baking dish. 

Place stuffed peppers into baking dish. 

Bake in preheated 350° for 30 minutes.
