One day, a wee Pixie by the name of Peter was about to go out and play, when his mother said, "Today is YOUR special day Peter, there won’t be any time to play."

Peter didn’t know what to say, he had a great look of surprise on his face. All of his other pixie friends had already had their special day he was looking forward to this day; whatever it may bring.

Mother Pixie handed him a new burlap bag it was filled with golden seeds. Peter looked at his mother in surprise “What does this mean Mother?” He asked.

"Today Peter, is your special day, it is your turn to take these seeds and spread them.” “Just anywhere Mother?” he asked.
No, Peter, your place is near the human’s house down the path. The patch has already been cleared away and is ready for planting. Although we call it “patch” the Human’s call it a garden.
"Oo! human's have such funny words! thought Peter listening to his mother intently.

"I’ve made your lunch pail and you’ve a thimble full of honey mead so that you can do your job thoroughly. As well as, I’ve called upon your friends and they will be there to help you. I’m so proud of you Peter ” she said.

Mother Pixie gave him a huge kiss and a hug & said “Peter you can’t come home till your work is all done, do you understand this?"

"Yes mother I do, & I will do my very best.” He said.

Peter gathered up his lunch pail, thimble and the burlap bag of the golden seeds, and headed out the door. As he was exiting, he waved to his mother, he blew her a kiss and smiled.

Today, was going to change his life, he just knew it!

As Peter left the Pixie village, he began looking for the path to the human’s garden. He saw many of his forest friends: Mrs. Bunny & all of her children nibbling on the spring flowers and clover, Dottie Deer and her new fawn eating fresh greens in the meadow, each one all raising their heads to wave to the excited Pixie.

"We’re very proud of you Peter!" they chanted.

Just as Peter rounded the blackberry bush, he saw his friend Bobbin Robbin flying towards him in a hurry.

"Tweet Tweet! Today is Peter’s Day! Hooray Hooray!” he sang very loudly. Peter giggled and called out to his best friend, “Hi Bobbin, have you seen Aetrail today?” he asked.

" Yes, Peter, I have" said Bobbin Robbin, "Aetrail is making a path for you, to the magic wand".

"Magic Wand??? what magic wand?" he asked.

"The magic wand that opens the bag & from what I hear, it can do more things."

"Peter, follow Aetrail the Snails' Trail, he'll lead you to the Magic Wand. After you find the magic wand go straight to the humans' garden, there you will have some idea of how much you have to do, I'll meet you at the garden" said Bobbin.

And Bobbin-Robbin flew away..

Hmm he thought, Peter's mother never said anything about a magic wand.. Well, she did say his friends would be there to help him.

Peter then began to look for Aetrail's the Snail's Trail. Aetrail's trail began by old oak tree. It led Peter through the Pixie forest. Further down the trail, Benny the Bunny hopped out of a blackberry bush and told him that the magic wand was in the Giant Redwood tree up ahead. Peter looked all around the giant tree and finally found the doorknob. Then he slowly opened the creaky little door and there was the legendary magical Pixie wand. Peter took it and was on his way again.

Peter caught up to Aetral near the edge of forest.

"I take it Benny showed you where the wand was?" Aetrail asked.

"Yes," said Peter.

They reached the human's garden after just a few mintues. It was huge! But Peter got right to work. He waved the wand over the burlap sack and it sprang open. The golden seeds were so shiny, he was nearly blinded. Bobbin Robin flew overhead and most of his other pals were there too. They all worked very hard to plant all of the golden seeds. All day they worked. After they were all planted snug in the ground, Aetrail told him what to do.

"Peter, you must now wave the wand over the seeds so they can grow". Quick, to the sky! And Peter flew up high. Then he waved the wand and all of the seeds shot up into beautiful flowers instantly. All except for 3 mystical lillies. And those lillies opened slowly to reveal...the Pixie King, Queen and Princess.

The King and Queen spoke to him in a royal tone. "Peter, today is your Special Day, you will become the Prince of the Pixies!"

"What, me? Really?" said Peter excitedly. The King and Queen spoke more gently now. Yes, we have chosen you to marry the Princess. "Oh, he is so cute!" said the Princess.

"I would be honored to marry Peter." "And I too," said Peter.

Peter's mom walked out of the forest and told him that this was why she had told him to plant the golden seeds. The garden was gorgeous! A perfect setting for the Royal Wedding.

All of the forest animals and all of his Pixie friends appeared. The animals kneeled and the Pixie's bowed, and the ceremony began. The music was sung by the birds, the beat was kept by the crickets, and the frogs played the bass. Peter had never imagined a day like this would come! They were all so happy and had a great Pixie party that night while the humans slept. HAHA! The humans had no idea of any of this... THE END FOR NOW...
