Directions on how to write
A Happy Poem:
One: Subject must
Conform to the following topics:
Light. Beauty. Morning. Spring.
Sunrise. Dew. Nature.
Two: Poem must include the
Colours - red (crimson or blood-red),
Gold, and include such adjectives as
Sparkling, glorious, tranquil.
Three: Poem must include cliches
Such as: "green hills",
"golden sun", and...
Four: Poems must not include
Tones of anger, sadness, evil
And especially, cynicism.
With these guidelines then
(set out by moi!)
I may begin:
The golden sun shone with
Glorious rays over the
Tranquil countryside.
Rising over the green hills.
Highlighting the sparkling dew.
Blood-red roses in the hedgerow.
A picture of peaceful beauty.
