6:40pm, 29/11/99 Home is a lovely place to be - a great refuge from the troubles of this accursed world! hehe! I think there will always be a place that somebody will want to return to, somewhere to be based. Even frequent flyers (or as Chinese ppl call them, the "astronauts") surely would vaguely base themselves somewhere. For me, I know I'll always be based in Australia, probably Sydney. I'll go on holidays to exotic places (at the mo', I'm going for Canada, Switzerland, Scotland, France, Sweden, Netherlands and Spain... but I shall always return to Sydney. Home base. It's strange though, cos I always think, you know, "I wouldn't want to live in France or Switzerland which are really "holiday" places, because then you lose that fun buzz you get from visiting these amazing places"... but then I find that people are the same about Sydney! Just shows what you think of home!
