Clam History in a clamshell
uh...  nutshell?
The Clams!
That Damn Clam:  Lisa "Onthatnote" Kellert - vocals, guitar
Gram Clam:  Lynne "Farquhar" Kellert - vocals, guitar, tuning fork
Shazam Clam:  Steven "Shocktrauma" Kellert - vocals, flute, keyboard, sound effects, kazoo
Clam on hiatus
Scram Clam:  Scott "Ding" Farquhar - vocals, keyboard, harmonica (especially D), egg and banana, Guido's guiro
Why are you doing this, again?
To experience the vocal melange of the Clams of Wisdom is to engage in a blend of multiple harmonies, acoustic interpretations, and even some a capella magic.
The Clams' prizm of sound refracts a spectrum of styles, mainly folk and country music, to a few pop tunes and whatever the hell they feel like singing at the time.
The Clams have performed in one form or another in Maryland, Virginia and New Hampshire at cafes, schools, community events, and even for a crowd of 2,000 at AIDS Ride DC 2002.
