  1. Mumtaz Mahal- nicest ambience (inclusing Quiad-e-Azam portrait!), and best N. Indian food for your money
  2. Mogul- green coloured, good location, overpriced, underspiced
  3. Taj Mahal (notice a comon theme?)- expensive, nice ambience, ok-ish food
  4. Indian Palace- ambience overkill, food ok, service nice
DO-IT-YOURSELF
  1. Asian Shop- indian, thai and chinese groceries. pretty good. but mind the coconuts (usus. rotten) and look at the expiry date (Bahnhofstrasse). good for Bhindi, whole range of masalas and rasam mixes.
