| NEW RATES - EFFECTIVE SEPT. 1, 2006 Hi Dance Enthusiast, Welcome to Teachers IV Dance Studio We are pleased that you have chosen to visit us and we hope to make your time with us worthwhile and enjoyable. OUR STAFF: Small, but efficient and dedicated to all our students. CLASSES: All classes are based on a six week (1 hour per week) session. The cost for the six week session is $70 per person, payable on the first week of each session. PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS: All private lessons are by appointment and no minimum or contracts apply. The cost for each private lesson is $65 for 1 hour lesson. Students choose the dance or dances they wish to work in. This is popular especially for the dancers that would like more individual attention, to work in dances not covered in our classes or for students that have a rotating schedule and cannot commit to the same night each week. You may take only one lesson if you wish or schedule a series. MAKE-UP LESSONS: All class students are allowed to make-up any missed lessons in another class closest to their level. This can be done at the students convenience provided he/she is a current student, without the loss of continuity in their payments. ARRANGING PARTNERS: We do our best to arrange partners for singles joining our classes. If there are not enough students to do this, we will ask our students from other classes to dance as "feet". We are usually able to arrange a partner for all. In the event we can't, we share the available partners. MATERIAL COVERED: During the first 6 week session we cover the basic step and usually one additional step in the ChaCha, Rumba, Waltz & Swing. The second 6 weeks we add the Foxtrot, Tango & Mambo/Salsa plus additional material for the first four dances. The third 6 weeks we usually add the Disco/Hustle and possibly Samba. Intermediate and Advanced classes add additional, more advanced, material in all the above dances. SHORT COURSES: We offer short courses in dances not usually covered in class lessons such as Quickstep, Bolero, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing and Viennese Waltz.
