The Success Ladder described in this book is so dynamic that it has generated more millionaires than any other business model in history. People, just like you, who deserve and desire prosperity but have not found the key to open its door, have changed their lives by utilizing the simple principles found in this book. I challenge you to fully grasp and adopt this powerful message. Your journey begins by asking a profound and important question…”Whose Ladder am I Climbing?”

From the book, Chapter 8, p.79
...You may recall the famous story of George Washington at the battle of Trenton. He instructed his men to cross the Delaware river and then to burn the boats, giving them no chance of retreat. The men were outnumbered and reluctant to burn their only source of potential escape. But because of those burned boats they fought with the tenacity of men who had no way out. There may be times in our lives that we are compelled to burn our boats, but fortunately, making the decision to climb your own Ladder is not one of them. The beauty of the PBM is that it does not require you to leap off the Ladder you are currently climbing in order to fully grasp your own. On the contrary, you can ease yourself onto this Ladder while maintaining a grip on the Ladder that will continue to pay the bills and keep you fed. The day will come when you will no longer be able to justify or afford continuing to hold onto someone else’s Ladder. When that time comes you will most likely want to release your hold as this Ladder will only serve to hold you back. You will then be set to fully enjoy the rewards of climbing your own Ladder....
