| now, i really dont feel i've the right to complain. typically my parents are great. my dear mother just told me that she doesnt like my self portrait (for school) because it has veins on it. veins which run from a heart and are interrupted by my favorite musicians. normally, people might look and say maybe that means music is important to her? maybe she loves music? and out of depth perception but close enough to the truth. so she tells me she doesn't like it. because of all the veins. im like...yeah, well, its MY art. and shes like "no, it's for SCHOOL!!!" and storms out. why the h*ell should i change my artistic styles and representations just because something is for school? the way i see it, when i saw other people drawing clouds, this is going to get me a good mark. and if it doesnt that doesnt matter to me. so why the hell should i change it? exactly. im not. thanks for your time. back |
