Teresa: I was standing outside of Abs's flat waiting for him. I had been waiting outside for awhile and had decided to come up to his door. Abs and I had been best buds for as long as I could remember. He was the best. He was also being very slow. I got frustrated and began banging on the door. "Abbbbbsssss! ABS! C'mon alrea-" the door suddenly opened and I sighed and said "Finally! Geez Abs I've-" I stopped as I realized I was looking straight into a pair of gorgeous blue eyes. Abs did not have blue eyes. The owner of the eyes just laughed at me and said "You must be Teresa, Abs will be ready in a minute, come on in" I walked in and stammered "Um, Thanks." I sat down and he walked over and said "Mind if I join ya?" "Uh, sure" I said uncertainly as he sat down with me. "So...uh, not to be rude but, who are you?" He seemed to already know my name. "Oh I'm sorree! I never did introduce myself. I'm Scott" he said holding out his hand. "And I guess you already know I'm Teresa" I said as I took his hand. Just then, Abs came out. " Allo Teresa! I see you've met me mate. He's staying here for today. You ready to go?" "I've been ready" I said as I got up. "It's you I've been waiting on" I said lightly shoving him.
Abs: Teresa and I were just walking around after we had eaten lunch and I was having a great time. I loved spending time with Teresa, we were like brother and sister-only closer. Plus, I hadn't been mobbed. "So Teresa, what'd you think of Scott?" I asked casually. "He's funny" she replied simply. "Funny eh? Yeah that's Scott for ya. Hey, don't you have a soft spot for funny guys?" I said sarcastically. "Shut up" she laughed. "Oh and then there's your eye fetish..." I teased. "I like a guy with nice eyes, so what?" she asked innocently. "Aw, so my eyes aren't good enough?" I pouted. "Aww, poor baby! You know you'll always be the most important guy in my life" she said sweetly. "Good" "Who else would I beat up on?" she joked and she punched my arm. I just shoved her in return. "So speaking of important people in our lives...when are you gonna get a girlfriend?" I sighed. Teresa always had to bring this up. "I dunno, it's just kind of hard to meet people since-hey wait, what about you? You haven't had a date in a while either!" I accused. "Yeah but I'm no studly pop star Abidin. Don't give me that 'hard to meet people' excuse, what if I set you up on a date with-" I cut her off "Oh no, no no no. You are not setting me up on a blind date!" "Aw c'mon Abs!" she protested. "No way" "Don't you trust me?" she whined. "No, I don't" I joked. "Pleeeaasssee? Do it for your bestest friend" she gave me the whole puppy dog look and I caved. "Fine, but only if you stop using the guilt trip" '"Deal! This is so great!" she said excitedly. What have I gotten myself into? |
