Chapter Eight
Maxamillion stepped out of his limo, rudely knocking into the driver that was holding the door for him.
"Are you sure you don't want
me to get Miss Rae for you, as usual?" the driver asked crisply.
"No William, it's a special night. You deserve a break anyway"
The driver rolled his eyes and Maxamillion walked into the building. He strutted through the halls as if it were red carpet bordered with armed-with-cameras reporters. He arrived at Teresa's door and knocked lightly. Teresa emerged in a crimson red dress, "hey" she breathed.
"Well, Hello babe. You look great, let's go"
Linking arms, the two returned to the limo and headed for the restraunt. As the dull driver opened the door for them Teresa smiled at Maxamillion, "It's our restraunt" He nodded, and led her to the door. During dinner, it was just as it always was. Exactly like the many times they had been there before. Almost as if that night at the premiere had never happened, ceased to exist. It must've seemed this way to Teresa too, because she seem to have forgotten that Maxamillion wasn't the only person she had plans with.

Tired, but smiling J tapped lightly on Teresa's door. After waiting a bit he got impatient and just pulled out his key to let himself in. As he the door swung open he immediatly noticed how freakishly quiet it was in the flat. There was no music on, like always. Not even the TV, and J heard no computer-like sounds. He went to the kitchen right away, expecting to see his friend with her head in the freezer. Finding that she wasn't there, he whipped open the freezer door as if to find her in hinding. "Aha...she's out of ice cream. She probably just went out to stock up." he said to himself. J sunk into the couch and waited....and waited...and waited. He sighed as he looked at his watch, 9:00. "Where could she be?" he wondered aloud. He was sort of worried. So worried, that he just worried himself straight to sleep on the couch.

About a half hour after J had dozed off, Teresa danced back into her flat. When she noticed J sprawled on her couch, she was a bit startled, but not too shaken. He'd done it before, usually when he was drunk. She covered him with a blanket from near by and continued half walking half dancing and smiling to her room.
