Chapter One
Teresa: As I stepped off the plane I smiled widely. I had finally made it. I was in England. It had been my dream to move to England forever and I had been transferred by refferal to a new job. I was a writer, and I wrote loads of different pieces. My happiness was soon put on hold after I got my bags. I realized I had never been to this airport before and I had absolutely no clue how to get out of it. I was planning on catching a cab to my new place so there was no friendly familiar face to show me the way. I looked aroudn the airport. Everyone seemed to have someone to meet up with. I didn't want to disturb any of the reunions. My eye landed on a lad standing by himself. Somehow he gave me the vibe that he was from around here. I approached him and tapped him on the shoulder. he turned around "I'm a bit tired,No autographs please" I gave him a weird look, "Um, yeah that's real cute but I was wondering if you could show me the exit?" He looked at me a bit surprised. "Yeah I know, I sound like an idiot. But, I've never been to England..." He interrupted my rambling-Thank God-"You mean, you don't know who I am?" he asked, seeming genuinely surprised. "Uh, no. I've never seen you before in my life, but hey-you could introduce yourself if you want" He smiled, "I'm Abs"

Abs: I coudn't believe it. She didn't know who I was. She was real cute too. "Well, you go down that way and thenyou turn right and then you go straight and-" I saw the confused look on her face and laughed. "You know what? How about I walk you there? I'm on my way out anways." She smiled "Oh that would be great!" When we got to the front of the airport she got out a piece of paper and started studying it. "Um..Abs?" she asked. "yeah?" She showed me the piece of paper, "Do you have any idea where this is?" It was address. "Do you live here?" I asked. "Well, I will" she laughed. "You're kidding. This is the building where I live." "Really?" "Yeah. You know what? Why don't you just come in my cab?" "sounds good to me. It's wither that or wander about England until I find it myself" "Then you better come with me" I said as I held open the door for her.

Teresa: I was so glad I'd found this guy. Who knows how long it would've taken me to find the exit and my flat. Plus, he was really cute. I couldn't help but notice his myserious eyes. Brown, with the tiniest bit of green on the bottom. "So what are you doing in Manchester..Umm..I don't think I ever got your name" Abs said, breaking through my thoughts. "Oh! I guess I guess I forgot to introduce myself" I laughed, "I'm Teresa. Some people call me Rease. Most people use both" He looked at me a bit funny. "Yeah I know it's a bit weird. Sorree" "You're in Manchester 20 minutes and you already are developing an accent?" I blushed. "No. It's sort of a joke or just something my friends and I do back home." The cab came to an abrupt stop "Alright, we're here" the cab driver said roughly. I began to get my purse but Abs stopped me, "I've got it." "Are you sure?" I asked. This guy was being so nice. "Of course" he said as he paid the driver and then helped me out of the car. He walked me to a door with the number 6 on it. "Well, here's your flat. If you need anything I'm just down the hall in number 3" "Thanks for all your help. I hope all the people in Manchester are half as nice as you" I said as I closed the door and he headed towards his place. What a lovely lad.
