Landscapes

Here are some sketches (drawn from photos) of various landscapes. Just to prove that I could be an artist if I wanted to.

This is a drawing I did of the Village of Deja, on the island of Majorca (Spain).

A beautiful view, as well as some attractive scenery at the snout of Solheimajokul Glacier in Iceland.

(It's Amy Gordon incase you couldn't guess).

(see the picture this was drawn from here)

This pencil sketch is of some famous castle in Scotland, the name of which I have forgotten. I used my artistic license to edit out the storm clouds that are characteristic of Scotland.

This sketch is of a part of Yosemite National Park in California, I think the section of cliff is called cathedral rocks. You can see the resemblance what with the trees and everything.

This is a picture of the limestone pavement on the West coast of Ireland. Can you spot the Lepricorn?

Ok there is no Lepricorn I just wanted to make you look.

This is another sketch of Ireland in the same area as the picture above. In fact the limestone pavement picture was done looking in this direction from the distant end of the cove in the centre of the picture. With the characteristic grey skies and black sea of Ireland.

When I fix my scanner I'll put on the photos these sketches were drawn from.
