I am not renowned for my efforts when it comes to revision. However when it comes to big serious bastards of A-levels I thought some effort might be a good Idea. Instead of doing crappy little note cards which I never do because I believe writing on a piece of paper/card smaller than A4 is a sign of a sick mind (admittedly I do it all the time, but still, no note cards!) Anyway in order to get with the times I have done digital note cards in the form of a power point presentation. This has the advantage that everything comes up nice big and bold on the screen and it cycles automatically so should help hold your attention. At the moment I only have one power point presentation for the hazard case studies in Geography. I thought I would make it available to all over the internet for the small fee of your respect. However I realised that that would be extortionate so here it is free of charge:
Update: I have done another set of notes this time for toursim:
UPDATE: Ive Now done notes for the EU as well!. I can’t be arsed to do any for glaciation though, just hope we get a nice question of describing and explaining depositional or erosional features.
These will probably work best if you right click the links and click save to disk, that way you can edit them/ do whatever, assuming you have power point that is. If you don’t just click on them and they might come up in your browser.
If you think this whole power point thing is a spiffing (proper bo/wick/sweet/cool for those of you still living in the nineties) idea, contact me as this might encourage me to do more. Even better do them yourself and send them to me so I can put them on here (You will be credited with them unless you don’t want to be.)
