My name is Mindy Hintz, although you'll never hear people call me that. I mostly hear people scream for me by calling me Moose or Mindus (as in Mindus of Moo). I will graduate from Lutheran High Westland in 2003, and it's not soon enough. Currently, I'm holding my "Segment One" driving permit. I heart driving. Going 70 on the expressway and not being able to drive slowly afterwards is fun.
I am a member of The Secret Agency and regularly contribute to The Files. Outside of that, I'm a member of the girls' track team, if that's considered a real "organization", and run an online campaign called: "Look at me, I'm bored, come and talk to me!" I am currently accepting applications for this organization. If you'd like to amuse me, Email me.
Oh, what should I say about my lovely household? Well, the unfortunate parents who spawned me are uptight about $$, and it makes me mad. Both my sisters will be in college this fall, a fact I am very thankful for. And I have a lovely little doggy named Gretel who provides lots of entertainment (Moose Pics).
I heart art. I mean, I really, really heart art. I also enjoy reading and story composition, and am currently attempting to make the transition into the lovely land of poetry. I think hockey's the perfect sport and are a huge Red Wing fan. I suppose I have a good sense of humor, so I enjoy a good laugh once and a while. I love going to the U.P. and want to work up there in the DNR, or go somewhere in Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas, or the Rocky Mountains. I heart being outside. And I heart cowboys, and would like to meet Cowboy himself and grovel at his feet. Muwaha.
I listen to all types, but I enjoy loud, industrial or metal stuff. Unfortunately, the protective parents disallow the purchase of anything with a parental label on it. A few bands I like are KoRn, Metallica, Linkin Park, and Limp Bizkit. Lately though I've been reconnecting myself with my past and listening to lots of oldies and classic rock, cause that's what I always listened to when I was a kid. I don't know why this renaissance is happening, but hey, whatever. I definitely do not like Blink or Sum 41, or any other bubblegum "punk" group. I do have the Sum 41 CD though, but, yeah, shut up. AND I HEART ANDREW WK!! LOTS!!
College does not appeal to me. I'll either stay home for a few years and finish a degree later, or not go at all. The former choice sounds better though, because the latter shall bring unemployment as the USA moves into a "3rd Wave" of society. Like I said before, I want to work in the DNR and keep pursuing some goals as an artist. Plans for the immediate future are along the same lines: get a job that pays decently this summer, keep up the grades for my senior year, and try to relax a little about shit. I'm going to try to finish the novel I'm currently composing by the beginning of the school yeah, and I hope I don't get burned out on it. Other than that, for the time being, I'm trying to have fun with life.
Blah. That's enough personal info for now. If I think of something later, I'll post it. |
