Dancer the Boxer
Welcome to my home page! My name is Dancer. I'm an artificially
inseminated pure bred Boxer living in British Columbia, Canada. My mother,
Nellie, is Canadian and my father, Rick, is Norwegian. I was born in the
very early morning of March 19, 1998, with two sisters. Thanks to my
breeder, Dr. Corry van der Ende, because of her efforts, I've been given a chance to see the
world.
My human Mommy Karen and Daddy Reg think of me as the world's greatest
pet. Maybe that's because I taught them some basic obedience commands and
a few tricks. I showed them how to roll over, speak, back up, feet up, bang,
and what a big wet kiss really is. However, Mommy Karen and Daddy Reg are
not fast learners. They both keep on getting me to show them the tricks
over and over again everyday. I understand that they are first time dog
owners, so I have to be more patient with them.
Mommy Karen and Daddy Reg love me very much. I get to go for walks twice a
day, go to parks every week, and I also have a lot of toys to chew. (except
for my beanies, I wouldn't dare lay my teeth on them. They are my
collectibles; my retirement depends on them.) Whenever we go for a car
ride, I have my own doggie seat belt to wear for my safety. Most important
of all, Mommy Karen and Daddy Reg use a nail grinder to manicure my nails
instead of using those awful clippers. I just have to sit pretty for a few
minutes and my nails will be done perfectly.
My favorite hobbies are:

- Sleeping
- Playing in the deep snow
- Eating (especially Mommy Karen's home-made doggie cookies)
- Frolicking around at the off-leash parks
- Collecting beanie babies (believe it or not, I am an official club charter member of Ty Beanie Babies Official Club)
My favorite celebrations are Halloween and Christmas. On Halloween night,
I dressed up as a devil dog to greet the little "Trick-or-Treaters". Those
kids always giggled by the door as soon as they saw me, and forgot to show
me tricks. As for Christmas, I got a lot of presents from Mommy Karen and
Daddy Reg. The best part was, I opened the presents all by myself.
