NAMES TRANSCRIBED FROM A
NEWSPAPER ARTICLE PRINTED IN
OCTOBER 1942 WITH THE FOLLOWING REPORT:

The National Fire Service Benevolent Fund No 22 area should benefit considerably as a result of the Dance Recital given by the Carlottal Kendrick School of Dancing at the Town Hall (Chester) on Friday. The programme was produced by Miss Carlotta Kendrick, RAD., NATD., and Mrs Wilson NATD and they are to be congratulated upon the excellence of their efforts. A Carlotta Kendrick display is the criterion of high-class dancing, and this performance proved no exception to the general rule.  The dancing of the younger dancers was particularly good and thoroughly charmed the audience. The Carlotta Troupe or more experienced performers demonstrated ballet and tap-dancing in charming style, extremely effective being the item "Scene from the Ballet". A vote of thanks to the accompanist, Mrs. Pickmere, was proposed by Miss Kendrick, and heartily carried.
