There are some really cool, and not so
cool dance movies out ther, there arnt many but if you look you can
find them, here are some of the ones i know, and a rating and other
stuff.
I've seen these ones and i'll tell you what i think of them : )

Great movie for thoses Ballet lovers
And
any other dancers, i love this movie
It's got to be a 10/10 for me:
A young dancer named Jodie, makes it to the American ballet Company,
and then is told that she has bad feet, and the un-ideal body type,
From this, Jodie strives in the workshop production and is a winner,
gaining herself a job as principle in Cooper Neilsons company.

If you want this movie, and can't find it in any shops
Try your local video shop, like blockbuster or civic.

This
movie is a good one for those R&B, Hip hop fans, This is a good
one to see. I give it a 8/10.
A girls mother dies and she is forced to stay with her father
in an all black community, leaving her dancing behind, when
she meets this guy who teaches her their way of dancing (hip
hop)
so she triumphs at her auditions and gains a place in a great
school. |

boy whose father sends him to boxing each week, starts
doin ballet instead, without his father knowing, and when
his father finds out, doesnt let him go anymore, until
the teacher comes to confront his father and he decides to
let billy go to the auditions for the big league.
it's an ok movie, bit of swearing in it.

Chicargo:
A stage dance musical, not really recommended for
a younger audience,
About a stage singer/dancer wanna-be who shoots a man who she was
having an affair with, and a stage actress singer/dancer who shoots
her sister and husband, and both are put in jail, story of each
getting out of prison and banding together to be stars.
I give it an 8/10
