| Riverdance is an old show gaining new attention. It began as a seven minute television showpieceat the Eurovision song contest; and became very popular. The shows creators Bill Whelan, Moya Doherty, and John McColgan were puzzled as to how to turn a short segment of a two hour show into a two hour show of its own. Bill Whelan began writing the show in October (1994) and Riverdance emerged less than four months later. www.riverdance.com |
