Debbi D. Miller is the owner/director of Dance Image and has been teaching dance for over 22 years.

She began dancing at the age of 4.  Over her career
she has studied Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Folklorico and Hula
from various studios and teachers.

She has choreographed countless musicals for many
local high schools and theaters and has taught at many local schools and studios.

Some of her favorite performance credits include: the Disneyland Parade, Dance Fever, Bob Hope USO Tours, and a five week European Tour with
Outstanding Students of America..

Debbi earned her BA in Dance from CSULB and
opened up her studio in 1992.  Since then, she has studied the Cecchetti Method of Ballet and has gained her Associate with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the Cecchetti Society USA. 
She continues to train under the finest teachers.

She is the proud mother of 4 children and after the birth of her fourth child, Debbi began educating herself on children with "special needs" and is currently studying ASL and working on her Interpreters Certificate.

This year marks the 15th Year Anniversary
of Dance Image.



Kelly Johnson

began taking Jazz and Hip Hop at the age of 10. 
Not long after, she began studying Ballet and Tap, and after a few years, worked her way into the Advanced levels at Dance Image.

She has won numerous awards including: Best Dancer 2005 (Whittier High School), Dance Image Dancer of the Year, Best Hip Hop Dancer 2002-2005 and
Lyrical/Modern Award.

Under the supervision of Debbi Miller, Kelly began teaching Hip Hop at age 15. Now a Senior in High School, Kelly teaches Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop.  She is currently studying the Cecchetti Method and has successfully passed her exams and is training at the Professional Levels.

Kelly plans to attend college and major in Dance as well as pursue her other interests:  Child Development, Business and Children with Special Needs.

Sylvia Corral
took her first jazz class at the age of 10. 
Though a very shy and quiet little girl,
she found a love in dance.  She enrolled in every available class.  She trained with Debbi Miller at the City of Whittier Parks and Recreation and through the
opening of Dance Image. 

Sylvia has successfully passed her
Cecchetti Ballet Exams through the
Professional Levels.

She has been teaching dance at Dance Image since she was 15 years old and has also taught dance
for the Pico Rivera Parks and Recreation. 
In addition, Sylvia was a dancer in the
Disneyland Parade for many years.

Sylvia is Assistant Director to Debbi Miller and also has  a full time job as Manager of Sears.

It has been an honor for Mrs. Miller to watch this once shy little girl grow into a confident and successful young woman.


OUR STAFF
At Dance Image, you will find a family-oriented and friendly environment.  Our staff is qualified and highly trained and has a full knowledge of the anatomy.  All classes and movements are age appropriate.
No matter what you decide,
choose a dance studio with experience and many years of education. A childs' body is very delicate, and inexperience can lead to improper bone development and injuries.

Sara Rose Medina
started taking dance classes at the age of 10 and has been dancing ever since!  She, too, trained with
Debbi Miller at the City of Whittier Parks and Recreation and through the opening of Dance Image where she began teaching at the age of 15.

Sara Rose attended the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts (LACHSA), and upon graduating, immediately received an internship with the
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York. 

She returned to California and while receiving her AA from Cerritos College, she worked as assistant to the Theater Arts Department Chair, Georgia Well.  As assistant, Sara Rose performed many tasks: teaching/choreographing for musicals, dance classes, theater classes and productions.  During this time, Sara Rose was working as a Back Up Dancer at such places as House of Blues and MusicBox in Hollywood while also choreographing for local Hip Hop Artists.

Over her illustrious dance career, Sara Rose has trained and studied at various dance studios (Debbie Reynolds, Millennium, Steps on Broadway, and more) and has graced many local studios with her talents.

Sara Rose has successfully passed her
Cecchetti Ballet Exams through the
Professional Levels.

Jerry Hernandez

Jerry is an energetic and talented rising star.  He has performed in such videos as JOJO"Get out (Leave)", OutKast "The way you move", Prince "Musicology", Story of the year "Anthem of a dying day", & Christina Milian to name a few.
  He has also done commercials for
Coca Cola, GMC, KFC, Jack in the Box, I -Pod  and
JC Penney.

He has performed in film as well as TV (HBO, FX "The Shield" & ABC "Invasion") and has trained
under some of the finest instructors.  He has worked with choreographers for Danity Kane, Ciara, Missy Elliot, Madona and Jessica Simpsonn.
