Handy Tips

When your going to draw, have a kneeded eraser handy, as it will help lighten the lines that you want ot preserve. As a matter of fact, I personally use the kneeded eraser during my drawing process to lighten my sketch lines. As I draw, I take the eraser and lightly erase any lines that I find useless; this usually is repeated several times throughout the drawing. (I recently found this tip by watching a small movie on youtube.com)
