�Is Skinner ready for me?� Holly, Skinner�s assistant heard a woman ask.
Holly looked up. �Just a minute Agent Reyes. I will check for you."
�Thank You.� Agent Reyes sighed as she remembered what had happened in Nebraska that night. She & Skinner had been the only ones to escape. Now one was dead, & two were missing, presumed dead, but Monica�s senses told her that they were both indeed alive.
�A.D Skinner will see you now.� Holly said slowly. Agent Reyes moved into the office & sat down opposite Skinner & looked towards him, concern in her eyes.
�Agent Reyes,� Skinner said sternly, �Are they alive?� Not so much as a question, but in hopes for a good answer.
�I know they are�I just don�t know how long it will stay that way.� Agent Reyes said, secretly hoping that Scully was not found, at least until she had calmed down a little bit. Scully had been in a sexual relationship with Doggett that he had dumped me for. I was embittered & angry towards Scully, & now Doggett was dead because of her.
Skinners voice interrupted her thoughts, �We have to find them. I�ll have holly book us a flight to Nebraska in a couple of hours. I�ll see you at noon.�
�Yes AD Skinner.� Reyes responded. The she got up & proceeded out of the office, down the elevator & into the X-Files.
