Due to a severe love of cars and racing (those in the know will understand my handle), I dropped my old guise and became Dana Sixty. Now I scarcely answer to my own name.
Music is the reason for my creation. Basically, I write rock biographies. If you're a band who has become somewhat of a known quantity or a much-cited influence, and you're interested in having your official biography written, drop me a line at [email protected].
I also play drums in whatever band will have me. I'm into punk, psychobilly, nasty-ass garage shit, or anything else hard-rocking.
Check out my previous band, The Spazmz, at www.woundedpaw.com. You'll notice I'm barely visible in the photos, but who cares. Being covered by other band members, stage decor, dry ice, flying beer or various other detritus, and stage divers is the expected fate of a drummer. You can't have an ego or an attitude. It's pointless, really.
Currently, my favorite bands include: Gluecifer, The Supersuckers, The Reverend Horton Heat, Calexico, The Didjits, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, The Aquabats, old 70s punk, Los Straightjackets, Diamanda Galas, and Godspeed You Black Emperor.
I'm also a crazy ass mother who throws myself into nice safe sports like a scuba diving, snowboarding, rock climbing, skydiving, and whitewater kayaking. Busted the old collarbone motorcycling and have been too much of a chickenshit to get back on the old horse.
