Vividly colored mosaic glass on Italian tumbled marble tile festooned with wristwatch innards, vintage jewelry, coins, cameos, etc. Tiles are 4" X 4", 6" X 6" and 8" X 8" in size. They can be hung on the wall or displayed in a stand on a table.
If people have inherited jewelry or have lost favorite earrings, I customize a tile collage to make a very unique memento they can display in the home.
Artists Bio:
Dana Rachlin was born in New York City in 1960. Before living in Vermont, she lived in San Diego, California, Florida, 3 boroughs in New York City, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Paris, and finally Vermont. She has a degree in Broadcasting and is currently a Librarian and Research Specialist. As far back as high school, Dana has taken classes in every sort of artistic medium possible, working consistently in ceramics, stained glass, papier-mache’, sculpture and collage. In 1998 she moved with her family to France and found a lovely Italian sculpture teacher who spoke no English to guide her artistically for 3 years. Dana's family moved subsequently to Vermont where Dana was able to realize her dream of finally becoming an Artist.
