| The festivities continued at Glen Eagle Golf Course, where everyone enjoyed a delicious prime rib dinner. Highlights of the evening include the father-daughter dance, the first dance, and especially the speech by the best man. A father of four daughters under the age of five, Tim comforted Juan Guillermo (the father of the bride) with the promise that he could vouch for Dan�s character, and that while it broke his heart to imagine ever having to give one of his daughters away, he would feel safe giving her away to a man like Dan. Cake, coffee, and a bouquet toss (which the lovely maid of honour, Grace Chan, caught), closed the evening celebration, as we bid farewell to our guests and headed for our new home, a 150 year old restored log cabin where we would be spending our first night together. |
