NOWHERE AND EVERYWHERE
Think of the irony. A man may have lived, believing until the moment he died that he was hated and reviled. Now this same man is the subject of grand theater, glorious music, haunting literature, and countless imagined dreams of countless people.
Who said fame is fleeting?
Maybe we feel, and laugh, and cry with this story because we see some part of it in ourselves. Have you ever been spurned like Erik? Were you torn once like Christine? Somewhere they live in us all.
This section of my labyrinth is dedicated to all the little things that remind me, and mabye others as well, of the impact this gentle soul has had on us.
SIGHT, SONG, and STORY
Have you ever watched a movie, or heard a song, or just a quote from somewhere that made you think of "The Phantom of the Opera"? If you're at all like me, something has sparked your memory of him. This is what makes me think of him and smile. Some of it may surprise you....
