Paris
Diary
DAY 1
I have renamed Paris to the city of stench.  Poohs and wee's simply everywhere.  It probably didn't help that we arrived in Paris on a scorching day where everything was on strike.  Trains, Rubbish collectors ... you name it.  Well our quick dash accross on the Eurostar was not quite as quick as one would of hoped ... we were delayed by two hours.  Once before the tunnel due to failed points or something, the second 50m from the station due to a broken down train in front of us.  We were a bit pissed ... until we were handed free one-way tickets or half-price return tickets.

The hostel wasn't too bad in the end - was a bit shocked as our floor seemed to be in ruins with renovations happening everywhere.  That night we went out for dinner and then stumbled accross Sacre Loure just before dusk.  Was an extremely beautiful vfew of the city.

DAY 2
Very lazy start to the day ... what the hell we were in holiday mode.  Highlights of the day which I will elaborate on at a later date

Arc de Triomphe
Champs Elysees - no purchases ... this time
Place de la Concorde
Jardin des Tulleries
Louvre
Notre Dame - I didn't take so many photos this time Danny!
L'Opera - still one of my favourite buildings, especially at night
Bastille Monument
The Ritz

DAY 3
Highlights

Sacre Loure to take better photos
Cimetiere du Pere - to of course see Jim Morrison's grave ... and while we were there Oscar Wildes.
Picnic in the Park next to Eiffel tour.  I may have eaten catfood again Mum, thought it was Pate.
Eiffel Tour - it was so hot that we simply didn't have the energy to walk up to the top - so caught the lift.
Checking out the Red Light District - and of course having a photo outside Moulin Rouge.  8 Euro for a beer what a rip!
