This is a webquest that I used with my 11th grade class while I was student teaching. I chose one of six countries for them to have immigrated from. They were to research and write a bibliography of their experience as an immigrant from that time period. This works well with a unit on immigration or the begining of the industrial revolution in America. Most of the students enjoyed it as well.
This is a webquest that I used with my eighth grade classes while I was student teaching. Each student had a work packet to fill out while researching about the Civil War. I chose to do this since there is so much to learn about the Civil War in a short amount of time. This gave a good overview. Students liked looking at the websites, yet had a little trouble with filling out the entire packet.
