We're just friends 
Or so we say 
Keep your distance 
Stay away 
To get too close 
Would complicate 
The things we do 
And so we wait 
But how much longer 
Can I stand 
Not to kiss those lips 
Or hold his hand? 
The longing in my eyes 
Does it show? 
Because otherwise 
He'll never know 
He's what I need 
But I just say 
Keep your distance 
Stay away.
