September 5, 2000 We picked out the tuxedo style this past weekend. They are so nice looking!! John picked the black cutaway style with a platinum styled vest and Euro tie. I can't wait to see him in it. He looked adorable in the plain tux they had him try on when he was being fitted. The weekend before, my mom bought our cake topper. It's gorgeous and is much prettier than the picture. They even have the same eye color as John and I have! I can't believe it's already down to 73 days. The past few months have flown by. I have a lot planned for this month. I start practicing my hair with the stylist and have my prebridal pictures taken. I'll post pictures of the final doo I decide on. September 15, 2000 Only 2 more months to go! I started addressing the invitations last weekend. Putting all the invitations together was a chore in itself. I have half the invites finished. I took my dress in to get bustled and steamed. I have my pre-bridal pictures in just 2 weeks. I can't wait!!I had a hair appointment this week to practice my hairstyle for the pictures and wedding, but luckily I picked a real simple hair style so she didn't have to take my money and practice. I recommend knowing in advance what kind of style you'd like to try. If it's complicated they will try to see if they can do it, if not, then you'll save money!! I have an appointment next week for highlights and thn the following week I get to see what I'm going to look like for the wedding. I'm having my makeup done as well. Next weekend, a friend (and bridesmaid) and I are going to Clinique for makeovers to see what colors we need to wear for the wedding. That will be fun!! I talked to my mom today and it seems that my mom and sister are already planning my bridal shower for October. I think we're going to have a co-ed shower so that John will be involved and hopefully he'll get the tools he registered for. :) I have had enough crap from musicians. Half of them don't return my call. The ones who do charge way too much money. Oh well, their loss. Thank goodness for my new job. I'm working at a University that specializes in music so I can use students and they could use the money! I just hope they will be easier to deal with than these so called "Professionals." Only 2 months to go and I don't have music. . . Ugggg Well since I have pictures in two weeks, I will try to update this page next Friday(9-22) or the Saturday after my pictures (9-30). I have to mail out my invitations in two weeks as well so I'm going to be busy the next couple weeks. I'm so excited! More to Come �
