| Welcome to my tribute to "The world's first supermodel": JANICE DICKINSON!! She paved the way for future models with her dark exotic beauty during a time when models were only acceptable if they were blue-eyed blondes. Since then, Janice has made a broader name for herself by teaming up with Tyra Banks in "America's Next Top Model". She's starred on The Surreal Life and is an OUTSTANDING author with two published books. Janice Dickinson is truly a legend who broke free from a dysfunctional upbringing and went on to make it on her own. She never quit even when the odds were against her. You can learn about her life in her autobiography, "No Lifeguard on Duty" (pictured below). The book is a major page-turner, and I know I personally could feel where she was coming from alot. I would be reading about a situation and I'd think something, then a few sentences later, she'd say my thoughts!! It pulled me in THAT much!! :o) I chose these pics of Janice -why else- 'cause they're my faves!! |
