GOODIE MOB TRIBUTE PAGE THREE
My fave Goodie track if I HAD to pick would be "Still Standing".  It's just so beautiful.  I also LOVE "Murder, Madness, Music". (w/ guitar riff) T-Mo and Khujo are an OUTSTANDING musical and lyrical pair. This is right up there w/ Still Standing/Soul Food
KHUJO
Khujo Goodie is strong and traditional.  Khujo is wise.  At first I couldn't get a take on him, what with his baritone fierce growl.  Nevertheless, in an interview he'd say something that gave away his charm and good heart; or he's bust a dance like the Ragtime (or something...I think that's what it was called...with the shoulder shrugs. It made me crack up.)     :o)   Khujo is serious and humble.  He is spiritual and I cried when he had his accident.  I wasn't sure if he was gonna make it, but he persevered!!  He handled that traumatic situation like a real trooper.  You can tell he was humbled by it.

Some fave Khujo tracks for me would be"Beautiful Skin" (what sincerity in his lyrics), "Thought Process", "They Comin" (from the "Even In Darkness"-Dungeon Family...also LOVE T-Mo here too.), and "Still Standing" (His poetry takes us right to the scene he describes eloquently.)
Cee-Lo
Although Cee-Lo is no longer with Goodie, I feel obligated to include him in my tribute because he played an intrigal role in the group's history.  I do think Cee-Lo shines more within Goodie than solo.  My favorite Cee-Lo songs include "Refuse Limitation" (that immediately comes to mind because he describes the tragic result of limited opportunities), "Still Standing", "Cell Therapy", and "I Didn't Ask to Come" (Major lessons to be learned here. Very poetic.)  Cee-Lo is a lyricist and poet.  I hope he will link back up with Goodie Mob.  In the meantime...I have my Lumberjacks!!!
MY FAVORITE GOODIE MOB ALBUM
The inside jacket to another fantastic classic Goodie triumph...their debut, "Soul Food" (right)
Other albums include "World Party"(a lighter album. I LOVE the cover art as it shows vast cultural appreciation.), "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show", "Lovin' Life as Lumberjacks" (pictured left...this is T-Mo and Khujo 2-gether.), "Even in Darkness", Outkast cd's, Witch Doctor cd, many soundtracks ("the world I know"...Oops...I can't sing...but T-Mo can!!)...more.
T-Mo shines on "God I wanna Live" and also "High & Low" (kisses to that man!) I'm madly cravin' a full-length T-Mo solo cd!!
Lumberjacks album is the jam!!  The tracks are all hot and T-Mo displays such wisdom in his lyrical content...Khujo too of course.
I could listen to T-Mo's lil' intro on "Git High" "on & on" (lol.) "S.W.A.T.S."...what a talented  cutie-pie he is.
CLICK RIGHT to peep this Goodie Girlie fan's recently published book of poetry!!  Show me some luv ya'll!!!!
"And old men courtin' young women...that's wrong!! Don't they know their 30s and their 40s been gone!?"--My FAVORITE  BIG GIPP line from "I Know Pain" (that song gives me chills up my spine...AWESOME)
