Dan started playing guitar at age 14. The first song he taught himself to play was "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
Dan's taste in music tends to be eclectic. While his first band was a punk band, Dan also has a love for music from artists and bands like Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Metallica, The Ramones, Johnny Cash, Tony Bennett, Dave Brubeck, Electric Light Orchestra, Billy Joel, and last but certainly not least on his list of must haves for the ears, The Misfits.
In 1997, after years of playing in bands ranging from punk to industrial, Dan founded RESEVOIR DOGS. At the time, Dan was heavily-influenced by the power-pop sounds of The Smithereens and Jellyfish.
Dan is the proud father of a beautiful six-year-old little girl. Divorced in 2000, Dan has joint custody of his daughter.
