| My name is Daniel James VanHartingsveldt. I was born on September 15, 1983 in Burlington, Ontario, and I have lived there ever since. I have 4 younger siblings. Twins, Kevin and Michelle, who are 20 months younger than me, Stefan who is 6 years younger than me, and Dylan who is 9 years younger than me. I went to school at Trinity Christian School from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Then I homeschooled for my four years of highschool. During my last year of high school, I went to El Seminario Juan Calvino in Mexico City for a 12-day mission trip. That was my first time travelling outside of Canada and going somewhere other than the United States. Since then, I have also been to Cuba. After I finished high school, I began to attend Redeemer University College in September 2001. Redeemer is a Christian University College in Ancaster (part of The New City of Hamilton), Ontario. It's called a University College because they offer Bachelor's degrees, but they do not offer any graduate study programs (Master's or PhDs). I am a Business Honours major and Computer Science minor. This website was an assignment for my BUS 225 Information Technology course back in second year, which was taught by Professor Harvey. We learned a bit about computers, about using Excel and PowerPoint, and about how computers can help and be important to businesses. The picture is me at a costume party in the summer of 2002, at the house of a family from my church. I was supposed to be the woodsmen/hunter from Snow White. He's the guy that the queen orders to kill Snow White, but he sets her free instead. My basic interests include team sports, computers, reading, etc. Basically anything is fun if you're with the right people. |
