The last leg of our journey from Atlanta to HIA Friday night boarded on time. As we rolled away from the terminal, the captain announced we'd have to be de-iced, which would delay us about 45 minutes. Two hours later, around midnight, we were airborn. A major ice storm pummeled Atlanta early Saturday morning, and left many travelers without a way home. Several of our compadres from the conference were planning to fly home Saturday.
