1. Warden (Tapti Mens Hostel since May 2002). Major renovation of the Dining Hall, Common Room (Entertainment Hall), the Basement was undertaken during this period (for details visit the Tapti Hostel Web Site). Roof-Top Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) was also undertaken for our Hostel from IITM Alumni funded project.

1. Organized National Seminar on Polymeric Materials held at IITM in Dec. 1997. Raised Rs. 1.5 lakhs from Industrial Sources for Organizing a National Seminar on Polymeric Materials, organized and conducted it.

2. Organized a Workshop on High-Tech Interventions in Rural Context as a Coordinator along with Drs. M. S. Sivakumar and C. Lakshmana Rao of the Applied Mechanics Department during April 97.

3. IUPAC International Conference on Polymeric Materials Organizing Committee Member of the National Committee.

|
4. As a National Organizing Committee and Local Organizing Committee Member worked in the organization of numerous seminar and continuous education programme activities of the deparment such as Chemists Day (three of them over 3 years; typed, edited and printed the abstract book of the first meet with my own personal computer and printer),

5. National Seminar on Molecular Dynamics, National Symposium on Metalloorganics (Jan. 1998).

6. UNESCO Regional Training Programme in Environmental Chemistry Organized by IIT Madras between 07.12.2001 to 21.12.2001. Presented a comprehensive seminar on the topic �Plastics � A Boon or a Bane� (this article is enclosed with the application).

7. IUPAC International Conference on Polymeric Materials � Organizing Committee Member of the National Committee.
