v   Former member of The Flowers of Romance

 

v   Former member of Siouxsie and the Banshees (drums)

 

v   Sex Pistols - After the departure of bass player Glen Matlock in February 1977. He got accepted because of his looks and punk attitude... he couldn't play the bass well.

 

v   He asked Lemmy Kilmister from Motorhead to teach him bass who later said that Sid Vicious was a hopeless student.

 

v   His amplifier was often witched off during live shows

 

v   Guitarist Steve Jones played most of the bass in the band's recordings

 

v   Relationship with American groupie Nancy Spungen and her extreme drug influence caused Sid to play horribly during shows. Band members were getting annoyed with Nancy's influence.

 

v   Winterland Ballroom, San Francisco, January 14 1978, at a concert - Johnny Rotten walked out of the band. Vicious left shortly afterwards.

 

v   A short solo career with Nancy Spungen as his manager.
