Steve Jones played most of the bass in the band's recordings

to play horribly during shows. Band members were getting annoyed with Nancy's

Ballroom, San Francisco, January 14 1978, at a concert - Johnny Rotten walked
out of the band. Vicious left shortly afterwards.
